Free as a bird, without an engine, in search of thermals
In the year 2000 I worked for the Bauverlag in Walluf/Rheingau. This publishing house was swallowed by Bertelsmann and there was no chance to take over the soaring picture at that time.
An exotic and laborious calendar was not profitable for the giant. So I was asked. Because at that time I was in a relationship with a soaring pilot. I seized the courage to lead the baby further. Among other things I also met Klaus Dieter Zink. He gave me great motives and we became good friends. He published his own calendar, which was/is quite different to mine. Meanwhile many amateur photographers and also professionals with so different, outstanding motives animated us to continue. For this I would like to thank you very much in the circle of gliding friends.
Whether newest models with the information of manufacturers and test pilots, oldtimers with their long life story or the desire and enthusiasm, if one can see the world from above, the and still much entertaining stories distinguishes the gliding picture calendar from other picture calendars.
